GATHAPRAYA
Hello guys! today I'm going to tell you about my school event called "festival budaya". But first may I tell you what festival budaya is.
Festival budaya is an event that routine to be held once a year. Every year festival budaya have a different name and different means. In 2014 festival budaya event name is Matswapati. Matswapati is name of king binatara (majestic) country Wirata. This event maybe held to show how the past kingdom is and to remind us about the legend.
In 2015 festival budaya event named Gamarvani. Gamarvani have a mean that brilliant love of the country. Gamarvani is a cultural festival that combines traditional and modern cultural arts. In 2016 festival budaya named Megantara. Megantara it self is taken from Sanskrit language and comes from 2 word that was "mega" and "gantari", by taking depiction of the Nusantara.
And the event that held in this year is Gathaparaya. Gathapraya is taken from Sanskrit language that was "Anagatha" and "Abhipraya". Gathapraya have a means that is a hope for the future. Gathapraya take a concept of cultural acculturation. As we experience today our culture has begin to be forgotten because of technology development. By implementing this event, Gathapraya will remind you about how beautiful our culture with one hopes that the future will be more advanced without losing cultural values.
Gathapraya event is held on 30 September 2017. Gathapraya have invited some guest star like Nidji, Hivi, Elephant Kind, Didik Nini Thowok, Soul Etnic, OSD ITB, Vina Candrawati, and Giri Harja. Gathapraya also show school student talent by collaboration between MK3, KV3, Band3, TS'T, LSS3, and KPA3.
And with proud I was one of many committee that have successfully organize this event. Before the event held I got a work to build some decoration for the event. Me with decoration team have already preparing this decoration a month before. We build the decoration for the stage, thotem, cepot sclupture, and trees of life.
And on the day event held I got a job to be in stage team. It was so fun although it was very tired that we have to prepare for guest star and pick up the guest star stuff but it was an amazing experience. And after the concert I'm so glad because I can take a photo with Hivi one of many my favorite band. It so glad that the event is successfully held with mane netizens.
